On our way, we passed charming towns like Ifrane, known as “Moroccan Switzerland” for its picturesque architecture and status as a sought-after ski destination. We also pass through Azrou, a notable Berber city brimming with cultural significance.

During our trip, we passed through the stunning landscapes of the Ziz Valley and the impressive Ziz Gorges, encountering towns such as Midelt and Erfoud along the way. From Erfoud, we embark on a captivating desert road that takes us to the charming destination of Merzouga.

As the sun begins to descend, we embark on a memorable camel ride that takes us to our camp in the middle of the dunes. Here, we savor a traditional dinner and embrace the tranquility of the desert as we spend the night under a canopy of stars, creating memories that will forever remain in our hearts.

Day 2: Merzouga – Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
Waking up to the enchanting sight of sunrise painting the dunes of Merzouga with its golden hues, you will find yourself immersed in a truly mesmerizing natural spectacle. After taking in this impressive scene, a camel will take you to a hotel where you can freshen up and enjoy a hearty breakfast, giving you energy for the adventures that await you.

Continuing your journey, you will pass through the captivating landscapes of the Tafilalet Palm Grove and the historic town of Rissani, known as the ancestral home of the Moroccan royal family.

The path will take you further to the town of Alnif, where you will enter the stunning Anti-Atlas Mountains, giving you a glimpse into the life of the local Berber villages that dot this rugged terrain.

Your exploration continues as you discover the charming villages of Tazarine and N’kob, situated in front of the magnificent Draa Valley, adorned with extensive fields of date palms that stretch as far as the eye can see.

Crossing the Tizi N’Tnifift mountain pass, you will reach the modern city of Ouarzazate, where a delicious lunch awaits you. As the day draws to a close, your journey will take you back to Marrakech, where you will arrive at approximately 7:00 PM.
