5 days from Tangier to Marrakech

DAY 1: TANGIER – VISIT TO CHEFCHAOUEN.
On the first day, we will start after breakfast. We will pick you up at your hotel and head to Chefchaouen, known as the “blue city”. It is famous for its white and blue buildings. We will take a walk through the city to enjoy its beautiful views. You will spend the night in a hotel or en route.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN – FEZ
After breakfast at the hotel, we will travel to Fez, the oldest city in Morocco. We will spend most of the day exploring the old part of Fez, called the medina. We will see important places such as the Royal Palace Gate and Al Quaraouyine University, one of the oldest in the world. After lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant, we will visit the tanneries and the Jewish quarter. You will spend the night in your riad or hotel.

DAY 3: FEZ – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDELT – MERZOUGA DUNES, ERG CHEBBI.
After breakfast, around 8:30 am, we will leave for the desert. Our first stop will be Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. Then, we will continue towards Azrou, where we might see Barbary monkeys. Lunch will be in Midelt. Afterwards we will head to Merzouga, where we will ride camels to reach the impressive dunes of Merzouga, Erg Chebbi. You will spend the night under the stars with the locals.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA DESERT – RISSANI – TODRA GORGES – BOUMALNE DADES.
After breakfast at the camp, we will return to Merzouga city by camel. Then we will go to the Dades Gorges passing through Rissani and the Todra Gorges. We will take a walk under the impressive cliffs of the Todra Gorges. In the afternoon, we will arrive at the Dades Gorges, where you will have dinner and stay in a Hotel/Riad.

DAY 5: DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH.
On the last day, we will drive towards Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas Studio. Next, we will see the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site known for its role in films. After lunch in the village of Ait Ben Haddou, we will drive through the High Atlas Mountains, making stops to enjoy the panoramic views. We will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon. This marks the end of the tour from Tangier to Marrakech.
