Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Tizi N Tichka Pass – Kasbah of Telouat – Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we will begin our exploration in Ouarzazate. We will begin by visiting the renowned Atlas Studios, where many famous films were filmed, and the impressive Kasbah Taourirt, a remarkable ancient mud castle. Continuing east, we arrive at Skoura to admire the Amridil Kasbah, nestled among palm groves.

Our journey then takes us to Kalaa Magouna, famous for the Valley of Roses, where a Rose Festival is held annually showcasing a variety of rose-related products. We continue towards the Dades Valley via Boumalne Dades, making stops at the captivating rock formation known as “monkey fingers” and a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the valley. Day 3: Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert – Overnight in a luxury camp

We then head to our luxurious desert camp, where you can enjoy the rhythmic beats of Berber drums, dance around the bonfire, and gaze at the vast open sky adorned with bright stars. Day 4: Explore the Merzouga region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga Lake – Erg Chebbi – Palm Grove
Start your day with an early call to witness the captivating sunrise in the heart of the desert. Take time to enjoy a relaxed breakfast. Afterwards, we will begin the journey back to Merzouga by camel, where our driver awaits you.

Today is dedicated to exploring the remarkable region of Merzouga, which is brimming with incredible sites, including majestic sand dunes, a pristine wild lake, captivating mines, fossil areas and astonishing oases. These locations provide the perfect setting for a variety of outdoor activities.

Our adventure begins with an off-road tour to an old eyeliner mine in Merzouga. Immerse yourself in nomadic culture as we visit locals in their hand-woven tents, where you can learn about their lifestyle while enjoying traditional Berber tea.

Our next stop is the charming village of Khamlia, famous for its captivating Gnaoua music and dazzling dance performances. The villagers come from sub-Saharan African countries such as Mali, Sudan and Niger. Enjoy free time for lunch at a local restaurant.

After that, we will take a leisurely walk through a palm grove before driving a short distance to witness the splendor of the wild lake in Merzouga, also known as the Lake of Flamingos. Conclude the day with a delicious dinner and a comfortable night’s rest in a hotel.

Day 5: Merzouga Dunes – Erfoud – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes
On the last day of your 5-day tour from Marrakech to Fes, wake up early to witness the captivating sunrise in the desert before enjoying a leisurely breakfast. After returning by camels to Merzouga, our driver will be waiting to continue our journey.

Our first stop is Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet, which is still a bustling commercial center with a vibrant souk held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Explore the lively souk before continuing to Erfoud, where we’ll visit a workshop displaying fossilized marble.

Next, we’ll embark on a picturesque drive along the Ziz River, pausing to marvel at the panoramic views of the stunning Ziz Valley. Enjoy free time for lunch in Midelt before continuing to the picturesque cedar forest, home of the Barbary macaques. Feel free to interact and feed these fascinating creatures as you explore the forest.

Our next destination is Ifrane, known for its cool climate, snow-capped peaks and charming alpine houses, earning it the nickname “Switzerland of Morocco”.
