Tour overview:

Day 1: Reception at the port of Tangier and transfer to Chefchaouen
On the first of 10 days from Tangier We will meet you at the port or airport in Tangier on the first day of your Morocco trip. From there, we will take you to see Hercules’ Cave, one of Tangier’s best-known attractions.

Continue traveling through the Rif Mountains and enjoy stunning mountain views as you approach Chefchaoun, the blue city.

Free visit to Chefchaouen to appreciate the highlights of the modest medina, where you will get your first taste of Moroccan culture. Spend the night in Chefchaoun


Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez
We will begin our journey to Volubilis after breakfast at the Riad of Chefchaouen, passing through Ouazzan and other Riffian villages in the spring greenery of the fields.

We will pit break in Volubilis to explore the Roman ruins and learn more about this incredible archaeological site of Moroccan history. After that, we will continue to Meknes, a historic city from the 17th century, where we will have lunch, explore the huge ancient fortifications of Medina, see Bab El Mansour and pay a visit to the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

 

Day 3: Visit of Fez
Today is to stroll through the narrow streets and alleys of the city of Fez, the oldest city in Morocco. With the help of a local guide, our tour of the Medina of Fez begins with stops at the gates of the Royal Palace, the center of the Jewish community and the first Mellah ever built.

Next, we embark on “Get Lost in the Medina” excursions through the majestic alleys, imposing walls and souks of the neighborhood. Visit a nearby restaurant for lunch. Later, visitors can see the city’s famous tanneries, Bou Anania Madrasa, and the Alqarawiyyin University, which was established in 857-879 and serves as the spiritual and academic center of Fez.

Later, we transport you to your Royal Riad in Fes Medina.

 

Day 4:Fez – Merzouga, Sahara desert
At 8 am, we begin our private trip through the Moroccan Sahara Desert from the Riad in Fes, passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains, Ifran National Park and the city of Ifran, nicknamed “the Switzerland of Morocco”. Stop for coffee and take great photos while admiring the scenery. We traveled to Azrou to visit the Barbary Apes in the enchanted cedar forest.

If you want to try a Moroccan tagine, stop in Midelt for lunch at a restaurant or somewhere along the way. In the afternoon, we will fly over the Tizi N Telghomt mountain and reach Errachidia, admiring the views of the Ziz Gorges, which offer incredible photography opportunities and where our drivers know the ideal positions.

Enjoy the magnificent view of the Ziz Valley as you travel to the Erg Chebbi dunes via Aoufous and Erfoud, the capital of fossils.

Riding a camel is an unusual adventure that will take 1h30 to reach our luxury tent where we will spend the night under the starry night of the Sahara.

Later, we will transport you to your authentic Riad in the Medina of Fez.

 

Day 5: Merzouga – Todgha Gorges – Dades Gorges
The Sahara Desert offers an incredible sunrise if you get up early enough, and is simply stunning when the first light hits the crimson dunes of Erg Chebbi.

We can still ride the camels to the edge of the dunes after breakfast to admire the unique beauty of the impressive Erg Chebbi dunes. Maybe a morning quad adventure.

At approximately 9 am We will go to Todgha Gorges, a popular rock climbing site in Morocco. We can give you a peaceful walk through the highest and narrowest gorges in the west. Our trip to Morocco then proceeds to the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 6: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
On day 6 of our 10-day tour from Tangier, we have covered over 1000 km and are now in the Dades Valley, ready to explore more! Today we will travel along the captivating Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the Valley of Roses in full bloom. We will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, enjoy lunch nearby and finally arrive in Marrakech via the picturesque Tizi N Tichka Pass, ending our day in the heart of the Medina.


Day 7:Guided tour of the city of Marrakech
A full-day sightseeing trip to Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most magnificent cities built in the late 12th century by the Almoravid dynasty. Because of its history, colors, fragrances, local culture, climate and souks, Jamaa El Fena and its souks always attract visitors from all over the world.

Our local tour will take you to the most notable sites in the city. The Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque with its minaret, the Bahia Palace, the souks and the Djemaa el Fna square are included in a guided tour of Marrakech.

 

Day 8: From Marrakech to Essaouira
Essaouira is a popular tourist destination. The Portuguese used to call it Mogador. It is a charming small coastal town known for local crafts, particularly thuja wood furniture, carving and small crafts, offered in numerous shops along the winding alleys.

After being When you arrive in Essaouira at lunch time, you will have time to walk around. Don’t miss the port in its Medina and the local markets, where all the fishermen congregate, selling their wares and even cooking for the people. Day 9:From Essaouira to Marrakech
In the morning, explore Essaouira and relax further in this beautiful coastal town, or take part in one of our optional activities.

Day 10:Transfer to Marrakech airport
