Tour overview:
Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen
We will pick you up at the airport or port, begin our 8-day route from Tangier to Marrakech through the spectacular Rif Mountains towards Tetouan and through incredibly dramatic landscapes, and then arrive in Chefchaouen, a beautiful place under the Rif peaks. Chefchaouen is one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco, an artistic mountain city bathed in blue that feels like its own world.
The old medina is a delight of Moroccan and Andalusian influence with red tiled roofs, bright blue buildings and narrow alleys converging on the bustling Plaza Uta el-Hammam and its restored kasbah. Here you will spend a night in a pleasant accommodation with a panoramic view that will allow you to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of nature, accommodation and rest in a charming riad.
Day 2: Chaouen – Roman ruins – Fez
After breakfast at the Riad, our authentic journey to Volubilis will begin, crossing through Wazan and other villages of the Rif, in Volubilis we will discover the Roman ruins and learn about the archaeological site of the history of Morocco, after the visit of the ruins we will change. On the way to the city of Fez, night in a charming riad.
Later, we continue towards Midelt through the Tizi N-Talghamt pass and the spectacular Ziz gorges created by volcanic rock. Arriving in Errachidia, enjoy the panorama of the Middle Atlas Plateau, which changes to offer indications of the desert.
After lunch, we will drive through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Rissani and the Merzouga desert. We begin the camel ride to their luxury tent in the center of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes before nightfall, after a glass of mint tea. Day 3: Fez – Guided tour – Ifrane – Monkey Forest – Boulaajoul
After breakfast in your riad, you will begin to explore the oldest city in Morocco, walking through Al Karaouine, the oldest in the region, the tanneries, the Attarine museum and the mausoleum of Mulay Idriss. After lunch, you will visit the tile cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fez. in its alleys and small streets.
Our visit begins by visiting the gate of the Royal Palace, the Jewish barracks, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all the sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous University. We finished with the guide and left for Boulajoul, passing through IFRANE, the Switzerland of Morocco.
We continue the path and pass through the cedar forest to visit the inhabitants of this area, the Barbary monkeys, friendly and “thieves” of food from passing visitors. Over there. Day 4: Boulajoul – Middle Atlas – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

You will travel through the fascinating Tiz Talghamt Pass and Ziz Gorge, enjoying views of the High Atlas Plateau, you will notice how the landscape changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the town of Errachidia, here you will have lunch and enjoy .
Berber hospitality. Next, you’ll travel along the lush Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views on the way to Erfoud and Rissani. Arrival in Merzouga in the afternoon. You will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before beginning your camel ride to spend the night in the desert with Berber music and sunbathing, accommodation and rest in luxury tents.
Day 5: Merzouga – Visit to the nomads – Black village – Khamlia – Overnight in Riyadh
Today will be a day of Total Desert. We will wake up before dawn to watch the sunrise from the Great Dune. Return by camel to the town of Merzouga. After a copious and delicious breakfast, we will surround the Erg Chebbi, an expanse of sand desert where the Great Dune of Morocco is located, more than 250 meters high, and we will connect by track with part of the route that ancient Paris followed.

Stop at the Tissardmine oasis where we can find fossils that are still found in this region and we will continue towards a nomadic settlement where we will learn some of the secrets of their life and customs. Later stop at a panoramic point where we can contemplate the Erg Chebbi as a whole.
We will arrive at the town of Khamlia, originally from Mali, where we will relax having tea while enjoying a small concert of Gnawa spiritual music. Return to the Hotel and free afternoon to walk around the town or climb the nearby dunes to take advantage of the sunset. Hotel accommodation.
Day 6: Merzouga – Errachidia – Meknes
After breakfast in Riyadh, leaving behind the dunes of Merzouga and leaving for the holy city of RISSANI surrounded by palm groves. Very important commercial city, where every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday are market days in which the towns of the area and the desert nomads make their food purchases for the week. If it is market day, we will stop for a while to visit it. We continue towards the city of Errachidia and in the afternoon we will arrive in Meknes, overnight in a charming riad.
Day 7: Meknes – Guided tour – Asilah
After breakfast at the riad, you will start exploring the 17th century heritage city of Meknes, walk through the huge historic walls of the medina, bab el mansour and enjoy the visit of the sanctuary of moulay ismail. After visiting Meknes, we will go directly to the city of Asilah, where you will spend the night accommodation and rest in Riyadh.
Day 8: Asilah – Tangier – Airport
Breakfast, free time until the scheduled flight departure time, we will pick you up at the airport, End of our 8-day route from Tangier to the desert.
