Day 1: Casablanca – Transfer to hotel
We will begin our 12-day tour from Casablanca. Upon arrival at Casablanca Mohammed V Airport, our team will warmly welcome you and assist you with your transfer to the hotel. During the transfer, our representative will provide you with a brief summary of your upcoming tour, ensuring you have all the information necessary for a memorable experience.

After checking in at your hotel or riad, you’ll have the afternoon to relax and settle in. Enjoy a delicious dinner, immersing yourself in Moroccan cuisine and hospitality. This will be the perfect opportunity to relax and prepare for the exciting adventures that await you.

Overnight, you will stay at the hotel or riad, ensuring a comfortable and peaceful start to your trip to Morocco.

 

Day 2: Casablanca » Rabat » Meknes » Fez
Second day of our 12-day tour from Casablanca. Departing from Casablanca, we will head towards Fez, passing through picturesque farmland along the way. During our trip, we will visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and the historic city of Meknes, home to impressive monuments such as the Medersa Bou Inania and Bab Mansour. Upon arrival in Fez, we will check into our hotel, ready to immerse ourselves in the captivating atmosphere of the city.

 

Day 3: Fes sightseeing tour with a local guide
After breakfast, we will begin the third day of our 12-day tour from Casablanca with a local official tour guide who will accompany you on a visit to the ancient Medina of Fez, the oldest inhabited medina in the world. You’ll explore the bustling souks (markets), pass through the gate of the Royal Palace and admire the historic Al Quaraouiyine mosque and university. The tour also includes a visit to the tomb of the city’s founder, Moulay Idriss II.

For lunch, you will have the opportunity to dine at a traditional restaurant within the old medina. Afterwards, the tour will continue with visits to the Najarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the hotel, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

 

Day 4: Fez » Rif Mountains » Chefchaouen » Fez
After breakfast at your riad or hotel, you will embark on a day trip to Chefchaouen, also known as the blue city. Located in the picturesque Rif Mountains, this charming city is a popular tourist destination in Morocco. Marvel at traditional buildings adorned in shades of white and blue as you explore the medina and its vibrant markets offering unique local crafts.

The panoramic views of the Rif Mountains in Chefchaouen make this place a perfect corner for photography enthusiasts. After a lovely day in Chefchaouen, you will return to Fez in the afternoon, arriving around 7:00 PM.

 

Day 5: Fez » Ifrane » Azrou » Ziz Valley » Erfoud » Merzouga
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will embark on a trip from Fez to Merzouga. Our route will take us through the majestic Atlas Mountains, offering stunning views along the way. As we pass through Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland”, we will stop in the cedar forests of Azrou, where you can meet and photograph native monkeys.

Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious lunch in the charming Berber village of Zaida. Continuing our adventure through the Atlas Mountains, we will pass through Medilt, admiring the picturesque landscapes, until we reach the town of Rich. From there, we will witness the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet as we head to Merzouga.

Once in Merzouga, you will have the opportunity to settle into your hotel located near the magnificent sand dunes. Get ready to immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the desert.

 

Day 6: Merzouga » Berber Families » Black Desert » Merzouga
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will embark on an adventurous exploration of the Sahara Desert. Your first destination is the town of Khamlia, known for its rich music and fascinating lifestyle. Here, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the captivating rhythms and melodies created by the locals, who originally come from Sudan.

A short distance away is the captivating Lake Merzouga, home to various species of birds, including elegant flamingos. You can also choose to visit a traditional wire house of the Berber nomads, where you will find a variety of authentic Berber crafts at affordable prices.

In the afternoon, prepare for an unforgettable experience as you embark on a camel ride, guided by an experienced “Camel man,” to the enchanting sand sea of ​​Erg Chebbi. As the golden dunes surround you, you will be captivated by the serene beauty of the desert. You have the option of spending the night under the twinkling stars or in a traditional Berber nomadic tent, immersing yourself in the nomadic lifestyle. Dinner will be served in the tent, giving you an authentic desert experience. Enjoy a night of rest surrounded by the tranquility of the Sahara.

 

Day 7: Merzouga » Errissani » Jorf » Todra Gorges » Dades Valley
Watch the stunning spectacle of sunrise as the vibrant colors of the dunes merge with captivating shadows, creating a breathtaking view. After savoring a cup of tea, embark on a camel ride for a few hours, or depending on your preference, through the picturesque Kasbah.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and a refreshing shower at the Kasbah before heading towards the fortified village of Rissani in the picturesque Tafilalt region. Located on the outskirts of the Ziz Valley, Rissani offers an authentic desert village experience and is home to the impressive Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sharif, the first ruler of the Allawi dynasty that prospered here in the 17th century.

Continue your journey, passing through the impressive Todra Gorges and the eastern slopes of the Atlas Mountains, until you reach the charming Oasis of Tinerhir. Here, you will be greeted by a lush valley adorned with palm trees and local villages. Embark on a scenic tour of the renowned Dades Valley, also known as the ‘Valley of 1000 Kasbahs’. Spend the night in the captivating Dades Valley, surrounded by its natural beauty and cultural heritage.

 

Day 8: Dades Valley » Skoura » Ouarzazate » High Atlas » Marrakech
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our journey to Ouarzazate, with a stop in Skoura. Enjoy the panoramic view of the magnificent Kasbah Taourirt, followed by another photo stop near the famous Atlas Film Studios.

Next, we will visit the renowned Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take your time to explore and engage in the rich history of this ancient town. We will stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in the village.

In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to Marrakech, crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains through the impressive Tizi N’tichka pass, reaching an altitude of 2260 meters. As we descend, you will be captivated by the impressive landscapes. Our trip will conclude with a transfer to Marrakech, where you can explore and discover the vibrant city at your own pace.

 

Day 9: Marrakech sightseeing tour with a local guide
Embark on a full-day tour of Marrakech, starting with a visit to the picturesque Menara Gardens. Admire the surrounding flower beds that serve as an irrigation system for the nearby fields, creating a picturesque setting.

Explore the city’s notable landmarks, including the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, the enchanting Majorelle Gardens, and the exquisite palaces of Bahia and Dar Si Said, home to a fascinating jewelry museum.

Day 10: Marrakech » Ouzoud Waterfalls » Marrakech
Embark on an exciting day trip from Marrakech to the stunning Ouzoud Waterfalls. Located approximately 170 km northeast of the city, these magnificent waterfalls have a height of around 110 meters, creating a stunning sight amidst a picturesque landscape filled with birds and monkeys.

Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to explore the waterfalls and immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds them. If you wish, you can hire a local guide to accompany you on walks or hikes, taking you to a height of 1068 meters to enjoy even more spectacular views.

Day 12: Essaouira » Airport
After an unforgettable trip through Morocco, it is time to say goodbye. Transfer from Essaouira to the airport in Marrakech or Casablanca for your departure. The 12-day tour from Casablanca comes to an end, leaving you with lasting memories of this enchanting country.
